Dr. Philipp Haueis

Philipp Haueis is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Philosophy and member of the Institute for Studies of Science at Bielefeld University. His main research areas are concepts and conceptual change in science and society, philosophy of cognitive and brain sciences, and climate research and policy.

During his association, Philipp will work on a book project entitled "The conceptual fabric of science" and a paper on goals and values in science. In particular, he will look at cases of strategic ambiguity and ontic risk at the science-policy interface, and the role of goals and values modeling and conceptual change.
