Contribution to SOCRATES
Hanna Metzen is interested in trust in scientific expertise and scientific policy advice: what it is that grounds trust in scientists and scientific advisors, or whether we should always value trust in scientific expertise or sometimes value distrust instead. In her work, she combines philosophy of science with approaches from epistemology, ethics, and political philosophy.
