Dr. T.Y. Branch has joined the SOCRATES group on 1 October 2023. Though trained in the philosophy of science, Dr. Branch also has research interests in social epistemology and in epistemology. She is the only permanent research member of SOCRATES and as such will provide continuity to the Centre's activities across fellows, activities, and projects. Dr. Branch synthesises the Centre’s highly diverse and interdisciplinary research activities through her own interdisciplinary expertise. While with SOCRATES, she will develop her own research projects in the philosophy of science drawing on new interests in artificial intelligence and the green energy transition.
