Our recent workshop, Models And Trust: Highlighting Issues Across Science, brought together leading international philosophers of science to tackle significant challenges related to models, trust, and values. Over two days, topics included the limitations of climate analogue models, the erosion of public trust due to polarization, distinguishing research from pseudo-research, and the pitfalls of expansive health conceptions.
Highlights featured insightful talks by Giovanni Valente, Soazig Le Bihan, Nick Huggett, Roman Frigg, Craig Callender, Carl Hoefer, Eric Winsberg, and Quill Kukla, sparking vibrant discussions and fostering a deeper understanding of these critical issues.
We thank our speakers and participants for the engaging workshop!
