Philosophy in Society: Discussions on Social Uncertainties and Climate Change

SOCRATES is part of the Nacht, die Wissen schafft (A Night Out with Science) on 8 November 2025 from 17:00 until 21:00. The event is bilingual. Join us for an evening of exciting discussions between philosophers and guests on social and scientific challenges!

We will start with a lecture and discussion on how a polarized political climate affects trust in science. This will be followed by contributions on the challenges of green energy and scientific-philosophical approaches to the climate crisis. And we invite you to join the conversation—tell us what's on your mind!
