Prof. Quill Kukla, who is currently a fellow at SOCRATES, has been selected for one of Europe's most prestigious research awards, an ERC Advanced Grant. Their interdisciplinary research project “TERRAINS - Territory, Agency and Inhabiting Space” will be funded with 2.3 million euros over the next 5 years.
TERRAINS aims to provide a comprehensive theory of the nature and the political and personal importance of lived territory: the kind of informal territory that has insiders, outsiders and boundaries. Congratulations, Quill!
