Prof. Joyce Havstad, who is currently a fellow at SOCRATES, has won this year's Ann Johnson Institute (AJI) book manuscript award for The Selection of Scientific Methods.
Joyce writes, “I could not have embarked upon this book project without the support of SOCRATES. Special thanks to directors Prof. Dr. Mathias Frisch and Prof. Dr. Torsten Wilholt for inviting me to be a fellow. I am so grateful to them, to the rest of the SOCRATES team, and to all the other fellows with whom I have shared this extraordinary intellectual experience. This book would not exist and it certainly would not have been honored with this award without the dedicated time, inspiration, and feedback that I have gotten from being at SOCRATES.”
