Dr Sara K. Yeo

Sara K. Yeo (Ph.D., University of Wisconsin-Madison) is a Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Communication, and Director of the STEM Ambassador Program (STEMAP) at the University of Utah. Her research interests include science, environmental, and risk communication with a focus on strategic tactics, information seeking and processing, emotion, humor, and curiosity.

Dr. Yeo will work with Dr. T.Y. Branch during her time as a SOCRATES Fellow on a project that blends philosophy of science and science communication.
