He is joining SOCRATES as recipient of a prestigious Humboldt Research Award 2024.
Contribution to SOCRATES
During his time in Hannover, Prof. Elliott will be completing a co-edited handbook on values in science, and he plans to develop a new book project that explores the roles that institutions play in mediating and guiding the influences of values in science. He will also be exploring how philosophical scholarship on science and values can contribute to alleviating epistemic injustice and considering how it can be effectively incorporated into science education.
