Dr Joeri Witteveen

Joeri (pronounced ‘Yuri’) Witteveen is a philosopher of science who has published on topics in the history and philosophy of biology and in the philosophy of science more broadly. He received his PhD from the University of Cambridge and is an Associate Professor of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. 

During his time a SOCRATES, Joeri plans to work on a manuscript that is part of his new research project on the role of values in the construction of indices and risk metrics in conservation science.
